Ziinga

Ziinga is the best place on the web to win gadgets through bidding (next to Bidcactus.com)

If you're not into Penny Auctions, I won't bother persuading you. You have to understand the Penny Auction scene or at least well into it, in order to appreciate penny bid sites like Ziinga.

Ziinga winners are mostly gadget winners! Good pieces of tech, latest iDevices you can bid and win for as low as 9 quids. Well, you can always wwish for some luck to rub on you before you give Ziinga a try. And try you may, they have a free 7 day trial afterwards you have to pay 1 month membership if you want to keep playing in the live auctions. But during the trial period, mind you, you have to know this part, any bid you consume or use during the tryouts will automatically sign you up for a month's membership especially if you won something during the trials. Ziinga won't send you the stuff you won unless you sign up for a month's membership.

With that outta the way, hope you give Penny Auctions in general a try, not just Ziinga! There are others out there with prizes that you might find to your liking. Some penny bids sites offer gift coupons, cash, fashion items, rare collectibles. Pretty good game if you ask me. But if you want to try bidding for the first time, Ziinga is a good place to start!

Handy Tips on Mounting your LCD TV

What kind of Wall Do You Have?
The type of wall you have in your room will determine the kind of metal anchor or studs that will fix your LCD TV in place. Is it Wood, concrete, drywall, brick-finished? Your metal anchor and metal brace should support at least 5 times the weight of your flatscreen TV. You can buy a relay mounting kit or can score metal studs per piece or as needed.

The bigger the beast, the harder it is to mount. I'm referring to that humongous flatscreen you just bought! if its 42 to 60 inches, make sure you that wall of yours can take it on, otherwise, prepare for plaster to come crashing down along with your TV.

A Little Bit of Home Improvement
If you're not the handy with tools, I suggest calling on professional installers. But if you would like to attempt installing things yourself, its quite understandable, considering you've probably spent the bulk of money on the LCD TV already. If you still have a budget left over, hire a professional and spare yourself the trouble.

But since, most flatsceens can be mounted with tools you already have at home, which are basic hand-tools and a power drill. One item you may not have yet, which is important in estimating the exact wall-mount position, is a stud finder which costs about $20 at your local hardware store.

Ready these Tools:
  • Sheetrock Saw
  • Electrical Tape
  • Stud-Finder
  • Tape Measure
  • Socket set
  • Torpedo Level
  • Philips Screw Driver
  • Hand Drill
  • LCD/Plasma wall mount
  • Proper cabling

Panasonic TC-P55ST50

The affordable Panasonic TC-PST50 series exhibited outstanding overall picture quality, characterized by exceedingly deep black levels with great shadow detail, accurate colors, and solid bright-room performance. Unlike LCDs, as a plasma it has superb off-angle and uniformity characteristics. The styling is attractive and the feature set well-chosen, including excellent onscreen help options.

The ST50 uses more power than competing LCD TVs, and doesn't perform as well in bright rooms as those with matte screens. It doesn't include 3D glasses, and 3D picture quality showed more crosstalk than many competitors' models. The ST50 is only available in 50-inch and larger sizes. Three HDMI inputs is one fewer than most midrange TVs offer.

With flagship-level picture quality for a midlevel price, the Panasonic ST50 series sets the value standard among videophile-grade TVs.

I Speak TV!

Freshly delivered, getting it for a friend. A Sony Bravia 26'' LCD Digital Color TV. This was something within her budget.

If you're wondering, I'm always the "Go-To" TV guy. Most people don't want to do research or talk pixel ratios and contrast. But I do meet hot chicks this way. Hah!
